3 Indiana Heated Barn Finds

So this would seem to be one of the more interesting 3 Indiana Heated Barn Finds seeing as the Barn has been heated for decades upon decades!

The first car to come out of the Barn is a 1968 Cadillac Eldorado with ultra low miles. How low if ultra you may ask, well how about 35,000 miles on the car. Not only that but it still is wearing all of it’s original paint too!Now not only that but you may remember I mentioned that this Barn was heated. Well it is heated by wood burning stoves since 1942 😯 Yeah tell me about it, who would be out there feeding the wood into these things for that many decades:?

Then there is the next part of the Barn with a 1955 Cadillac and yet another wood burning stove to keep it all warm. Now this Caddy was sporting 55,000 original miles and has around 85% of it’s original paint still coving the original sheet metal. Of course, this was because of the wood stoves right? Well lets go a little deeper past the ’55 Caddy to see what is next in the Dream Barn.

Next up was a 1942 Studebaker 4 door sedan that seems to be all original as all these car seem to have been. Well if you were able to park your vehicles in a heated Barn I think they would last almost forever so to speak 😕 It seems that even though this garage was heated and fairly free of humidity, that was not enough to keep the cars perfect. While trying to drive the Studebaker out of the garage it seems that the front brakes froze up. No mater how many times the driver tried to back up and get them to release it just wasn’t happening for the most part 🙁 So it howled it’s way out of the Barn to be semi stuck into the snowy grass until they used a winch to pull it into the trailer.
