Very single pointed subject matter today, correcting years of Tad’s Subaru handiwork.

There are always build threads on forums, and the guys think that following and planning projects on cars is a good road to go down.  Mike will be doing his C5, Tom has his 69 Camaro and his Subaru Forester, and now Tad is going to attempt to transform his car back into a nice fast street car. (not that it ever really was)

Here is the basic deal, Tad’s car is kind of a mess.  It sat for years, and has a mysterious engine noise.  It’s a JDM 2.0 engine with a six speed and some decent driveline parts and it should be a decent starting point.  The build, including mold and moss removal, is discussed.  What’s good, what’s bad, and what is going to be used.  Tom has a good collection of Subaru stuff as a head start so it’s really a great opportunity for Tad to make something out of this mess. Mark Bench calls in to give some heads up on how to go about getting the right ECU in the car.
