Gotta say Fudd (Alan) did ok this time.  A little bit of abuse, but a guest appearance well done.  (and he was sitting in Tom’s seat again)

Fudd is actually building a car as well, and that becomes the topic of the conversation.  He has a 1960s something Barracuda and it is going to get… what else… an LS 5.3 swap.  Fudd wants to make a single turbo and is really trying to do this on the cheap.  He did get a K frame, but the questions came up about internals and headers.  The subject of rods and longevity came up and was actually some good discussion of Mike’s practical experience.  A few listeners call in to give feedback of Fudd’s parts choice.  Fireman Jeff also gave a call in specifically because he had a rod issue of his own.
