Looking through some desk drawers in an old shop

So How Old are your Plates is the question after finding a collection of license plates in an old desk drawer in the back of a old body shop that hasn’t been checked for years 😯

Not only do we get to see some interesting old New Jersey license plates but, actually get a little lesson on how they did things back then.

I remember when they put the stickers on the plates for a show while trying to show if you had re-registered your car or not.

Then they dumped that claiming that it was costing to much money to print the stickers for some reason? However look at back in the 1940’s when they used to print out a metal tag that you have to place into your license plate. Have to wonder how much that must have cost even back in the day 😕
