More Survivors stored
So this collection gets better and better with More Survivors stored with a 3200 Series Truck with 28k original miles plus a Pontiac Bonneville Hearse 😯
Delving a but deeper into this semi hoarder collection we see more detail on some of the machines that make it up.
First is this 1960 Chevrolet station wagon with a 283 powering it. It has manual steering with Power Brakes which is a bit of an odd option package to me. Odd part being manual steering on a station wagon. You would think that with the power brakes steering would be a given on such a large car. It then has close to 100k on the car yet still remains original paint and solid floors for that many miles. However seeing as the last inspection sticker was 1967 so I don’t think it has been driving around in the rain lately?
Then off in the back ground you see a Pontiac Bonneville Hearse. This is a Hearse you do not all to often see. Unsure of the powerplant but, I seem to remember it being powered by a 421 and if so that makes it even cooler, well if a Hearse could be cool that is 🙁
Lastly is a real odd bird so to speak. It is a 1957 Chevrolet 2500 series Pick Up truck. However 2 things make this truck super rare with the first being that is has 28k on it all original 😯 It was driven by an old lady that took it to the store and that is about it for this truck when it came to putting miles on it. However the even stranger thing is that for a 3/4 ton truck it is powered by a straight six engine with a Hydromatic transmission 😯 I had heard from someone that the Hydromatic was only available with a V8 in a GM pick up but, this all original ultra low mile survivor proves that to be wrong.
