This was beyond restoration from everything we could tell

So what would make this Craigslist Find Triumph beyond repair you may ask? Well aside from the obvious in the video there was more that happened while we where looking at it 🙁

After seeing the add for the car and having experience with them before hand we had to go take a look at this one. Boy was it not exactly as described 🙄

OK not exactly worse then we thought but, at the same time not nearly as good either.

So when we got to the location that the car has been sitting at for decades it was under a tarp. A well weather worn tarp for the most part that was partly attached to the bricks that were holding it down so it wouldn’t get blown off by the wind. So we partially rip the tarp trying to get it off of the car to take a look at it and see if it was what we are looking for?

As you can most likely see it is a bit rusty, well more than a bit rusty 😯

Although surprisingly it didn’t smell cause it looked like it should. We looked inside to see all of the spare parts that will come with it like another grille and stuff like that. However when the drivers door was opened the car crumbled to the ground 🙁 So now we knew the frame was toast for the most part and no mater what parts it came with was not going to be enough.

Of course we hear the story about how it was driven to where it is now parked (how many decades ago) but, the entire engine was there. Plus all the extra parts inside that have been collected over the years even including a new Grille!

However we had to pass on this and I would think after seeing that the frame was also gone most people would walk away too…
