Hoarders Collectors or in charge of saving history?

This a collection of Hoarders Collectors or in charge of saving history of cars that I have only heard about for years now until I finally got to see it! All of these cars are ultra low mile and original right down to the tires on a few 😯

Hoarders or Collectors?
Hoarders or Collectors?

I have only heard about this collection for over 20 or so years. It was once housed in a garage near a River that flooded way to often forcing the owners to run to pull the cars out before they went under water 🙁

They eventually were forced out do to eminent domain BS and bought another location to store the vehicles. I of course had been joking for years calling them Hoarders because I thought that they were just saving random cars. Well OK they are just saving some random cars but, there is a method to their madness here.

They obviously favor Pontiac but, that is not a bad thing. I mean the Bonneville Hearse I had seen before at shows and I did not know that they had brought it into the collection. Then there are some limited production Big Block Mopars in the collection too. The ’68 or ’69 Chevelle Convertible in Blue only has 28k on the clock I do believe. V8 and all original drivetrain and paint.

All of the convertibles are original cars and paint with low miles on the clocks. Many are 4 speed cars with the Pontiacs being Tri Power setups on a lot of them. There are also a lot of OHC 6’s in them too and almost all of these car drove to this location where they are parked at. So almost all being running cars and having a story or history as to why they have been chosen to be saved and kept under roof in a collection for years and years.

I was told the way to tell how long the cars have been in this collection is by looking at the inspection stickers on the windshields. A lot of them are on the right hand side of the windshields and in New Jersey that hasn’t been the way since the late 60’s that I know of? So these cars have been off the road for quite some time and are all original 😛
