Some interesting History on these Lorries

So quite a bit of info about Steam Lorries at the annual Fairford Steam Rally. I like steam engines and tractors but, I never knew these existed?

More than likely I didn’t know about them because they are across the Pond so to speak? Steam Tractors are a plenty in the United States for the most part.

Either in the Henry Ford Museum or at plenty of 4H and other Fairs. Some even show up at the Tractor Pulls to make some demo runs!

Heck I hit Jacktown every year and see a lot of Steam Engine and Hit n Miss engines running at that show too.

However I only get to rid in a trailer behind an old Gas Tractor. You get to see an actual Steam Roller chugging around along with some other antique Tractors doing Tractor Pulls. No steam engines making any pulls that I have seen as of yet 🙁

Hopefully I will get some real footage of an actual Steam Tractor Pull there or someplace else in Pennsylvania at some point in time? As of tonight I ran into at least 5 Balloons taking off from an airport by me. Again something most people do not see every day.
